Let’s see some Tri/TT rigs

My Planet X Exocet 2. Been gunning for 40K solo TTs since no races are running. Only gotten under 1 hour once of 4 attempts so far.
Black saddle is the current setup. Waiting on a derailleur shim to put a 55T setup on.

Uh-oh…your first post and you post a pic of your bike in the small chainring. Mandatory 5 point deduction.

Maybe consider deleting your profile and start fresh. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

(Seriously though…good looking bike and welcome!)

Out of habit I always shift into the small ring before carrying it into the house… to avoid inevitably getting grease on some furniture or worse, the walls… yet today I wanted to take a photo and somehow I always manage to screw that detail up. Ugh

This is my Storck aero, she’s quick, alas I’m slow but it’s a highlight when I get to ride her.

Only had a disappointing VoS run on it this year but the weekly 10’s will pick up again soon

Ok! I’m back with a different photo, and this time with the rear disc on.

Here’s my P3.

Haven’t modified much other than swapping out for the carbon armrest pads, swapping for a TriRig Sigma stem, adding a rear water bottle cage, and the original owner had a Quarq ELSA installed.

That’s a damn good looking sled…

No Disc wheel but I do have disc brakes

How many teeth are you running on your chainring?

get a wheel cover and you are good to go!

It’s only 46 at the moment, I do have hills where I train. I’m waiting on the 50T aero to arrive for race days.

That would complete the look for sure

Does anyone have an TT rig older than this baby that they still use? :metal:

This is the 2003 Cervelo Dual. Bought it in 2003…did my last Triathlon on it in 2007, had it tuned up in 2013, but haven’t ridden it since.

Due to all my races being canceled, I found a “socially distant” 20k TT I’m doing next Sunday. I took this cherry out for some training intervals yesterday to get re-acclimated. It shifted like poop, but I fitted it with a proper set of 25mm road tires, and she still got going pretty good.

My body is pretty achy from being aero for the first time in a while … but I’m going to give it a rip.

The folks at the race will likely look at this thing like I’m on a Penny Farthing :joy:

Get some deep rim wheels, maybe upgrade the bars and I’d put that up against a lot of the newer bikes on the market, no problem. The old Cervelo geometry was “long and low” and could get you in a great TT position.

No TTs yet due to covid but I did take this out for a spin!

If I keep riding it at all, a new saddle is the #1 priority. OUCH.

Funny how we used to ride those saddles without issues now I only use ISM saddles

Ready for the King of the Lake

Meh, looks slow.

Good lawd, that’s a ripper. Only problem is that you won’t have equipment to blame. :stuck_out_tongue:

There is allways new equipment to blame
