Legacy Pricing of TR

I personally don’t feel you’ve betrayed us. Nothing has changed yet.

For me the issue I have is that grandfathered pricing creates a relationship between me and TR unlike any other company. For every other training software company I’m just a paying customer who they don’t care about. But you guys are different and the grandfathered pricing makes me feel valued and this makes me value TR more. That’s why for me I’d take a price increase more to heart…like being cheated on by a partner, the “I’m not angry, just disappointed” situation. I would feel let down.

On a business level it probably makes more sense to scrap it. You’d lose less users than you’d retain so you’d increase your revenue.

Then it becomes about the product and service. As someone mentions above, I’ve never known a CEO be as active with its customers as you are and we know you wouldn’t take the decision to increase prices without a lot of hard thought.

Honestly, for me if you increasd my price, I’d probably leave or at the very least go monthly as I’d have no reason to stay loyal. But I totally understand what a bind and restrictive business practice grandfathered pricing must be. But once you lose a good thing…it makes it harder to justify the higher cost…you always feel you are getting less.
