Yep, same thing happened to me today.
Same here. Did give input manually but it stills says that I have a pending feedback.
I’ve got the same issue
Like other Did give manual imput, but it still says that I have pending feedback
Thanks all. Guess I’ll hold off on the manual feedback since it won’t really solve the problem. Hopefully it’ll come through later today/tomorrow.
Just checked again and it was there. Rated it and no more prompts. Just for reference the workout was about 9 hours ago in case there’s simply a delay.
Happened to me yesterday after an outside ride so I manually entered one as directed by the app. I opened a support ticket last night, however this morning the ride had appeared on Join. Just one of those periodic glitcheey you get I suspect.
Mine also appeared when I awoke this morning. That’ll do!
Doesn’t seem to be completely resolved as of yet. Today’s workout (ended a couple hours ago) hasn’t imported yet but this time I’m not even prompting for feedback yet.
Seems like the Strava/Join connection is having a problem.
Moved from TR to Join end of Nov. Wanted to check it out and decide after 4 months which one to use. So far:
Join us better because
- can set time available
- can see estimated level in the future given plan and time available
- APP is more slick
- good simple integration to wahoo and zwift ( using free TP account)
- Price is about 50% of TR
TR is better at:
- more challenging workouts / higher intensity prescribed by AI
(Note I think join rides are too easy, while I have to say I left TR because the AI seemed to wanted to kill me the last couple of weeks I was a member. Failed about half of the rides.)
I am not decided yet, but given join is about half the price I think I will stay with them.
Not to mention that you have more options to set the intensity. I am planning a multi-day gravel adventure for May and have opted for the “cycling holiday” plan. I could choose a multi-day race event but it would give me more intensity. Moreover it takes into account my commutes (1 hour + 1 hour per day) and my weight lifting (although this doesn’t seem to affect the proposed workouts since I give it an RPE of 4 or 5) and it is extremely flexible. Overall it seems much more fun for my needs which are nowhere near racing.
The “scientific” question though is, how can we really evaluate JOIN or TR for that matter? I have no answer for the moment except that I find JOIN more pleasing than TR but this is not a scientific reply at all.
I think it depends on what you mean by evaluate - because there’s different factors to that, some of which are personal.
I’m not a pro cyclist. I don’t aim to be one. I just aim to improve myself and do better on local routes and climbs. Raw hard improvement without regard for how I’m enjoying it isn’t my thing. I don’t want to be completely drained all the time. TR leans more toward that imo. That’s not a negative exactly, but just not my jam. JOIN is about improving (maybe not as much as TR as fast) while enjoying it imo.
Putting aside the “feeling” aspect of it and comparing the raw improvement with the different training plans would be interesting.
I asked support about this and they confirmed it doesn’t affect the workout prescription. I still fill it in though
Exactly! Although one could have hard results on improvement, subjective feeling is extremely important. That’s why I also prefer JOIN than TR, it doesn’t drain me as much as TR.
My only complain though is that they do not have an English speaking podcast ![]()
BTW I found this nice link where they help you pick a plan:
i did a warm up, zwift race, and the cool down (so three rides) and they uploaded without issue, I’ve given feedback and not being prompted for feedback, so hopefully it’s sorted now
I agree with the intent of this graphic:
however fitness peaked just as high with intensity, for the same volume. Agree with the issues of too much intensity - and would add that I was usually too tired to enjoy after dinner family time. Plus feeling burned out and repeated injuries as per the graphic.
Using my own results, I would redraw with volume. Because in my data its clear that high intensity with low volume (3-5 hours/week average) has ALWAYS been lower than higher volume (7-10 hours/week) almost regardless of intensity. The advantage of lightly sprinkling intensity into each week - fitness compounds without burnout/injury/illness and its possible to add more volume.
Must have just been me. Reset the connection to strava and it came right in.
With the Strava fiasco, I submitted a feature request to allow importing from Garmin as well. Who knows - maybe it’ll happen!
There is already the option to import from Garmin in the connected accounts section.
I haven’t used as Garmin won’t push Zwift / TR workouts to Join and I don’t record indoor rides on a Garmin device.
