We all know consistency is key when trying to get faster. For me personally it’s helpful to see the percentage of completed workouts to keep me motivated. I created a widget to track this on my iPhone using the app Scriptable.
If folks are interested, I can share the script and steps to get it set up on your own iPhone. Looking to create more here in the near future.

Oh this is cool! Nice work!
Any other widgets people would like?
We haven’t looked into this yet. I’m not sure how popular widgets are.

I’d love a “Today’s Workouts” widget. Basically this, but on a widget:
Sometimes I don’t look at my TR calendar until I hop on the bike and I’m ready to work out, so having that as a widget on my phone’s screen to remind me that I need to set aside 3:30 hours to work out would be super helpful.

Can you share with instructions please? I’d love to have this on my phone.
@mrgoman Here are some instructions on how to get this widget setup:
- Download Scriptable
- Download this file on an iPhone
- Save in the Files app
- Open with Scriptable
- Edit file on line 4 to include your username rather than mine
- Add a scriptable widget to your homescreen, and select the correct one

Couple of limitations:
- Your profile needs to be public
- It tracks completion of workouts since the beginning of the year

Thanks Nate! Widgets are weird because it’s hard to advertise to users that they are available. You kinda have to find them on your own. I do think they are a useful tool. Also very nice to view them on my mac desktop as well since widgets are shared between ios and mac os
That being said here are some widgets I think would be cool:
- Upcoming workout
- FTP / W/kg
- Progression Levels
- Maybe training stress?

That’s a cool idea! Thanks!
I created a couple more that I think are useful @Nate_Pearson. Design is not my profession, so i’m sure these could use some work lol
