Hi TR team. Disregard the previous post (if you have seen it at all :slight_smile: ). In fact those 2 or 3 events settled in the same day after my 27th week occasionally occurred were due to the fact of some of them have been added manually after the plan that I’ve deleted to make the new plan. I thought deleting the plan would have deleted everything since that day to the future keeping only events but in fact all of added trainings to fill some gaps like the fact of openers to B races at the time wasn’t working made this. Now it’s all kind of 500 stars!

Only 2 minor things I have to report after deleting again the plan and all other trainings manually added in that first plan I´ve deleted previously:

1 - Started this new plan setting the 1st October as starting date and I´m in the 6th week of SSBII so the plan recalculated the training for next Saturday as if I weren´t doing SSBII on the 6th week but as if I´m following the new plan from the start and therefor added for Saturday the correspondent weekly training of SSBII but of week 4 once by the plan builder I should have done 2 weeks of build between base I and base II and if so by now I´d be only on the 4th week of SSBII instead of the 6th week. So for saturday I already added manually Andrews and Beach and one of them will replace Mary Austin -1:

2 - Having no opener to the B race on this particular week after my first A race giving a 2 days break without no training but when I get there I’ll evaluate and probably will do something like Taku on the 12th for active recovery from the A race and Laurel as opener on the 13th for the B race on the 14th.

It’s really 2 minor things easily dealt manually so for now let’s get focused on following the prescribed training and get faster!

Yes! I was working on a new plan again because I thought that too and writing my last post and only saw your post now :slight_smile:

@Fassi it looks like you have 2 custom plans scheduled on your calendar, and that is the reason for the duplicate workouts. You have one that started to December 10, and one that starts on December 22. Since it looks like December 10 is the correct one, I’d recommend deleting the plan starting the 22nd. All of your events will remain so don’t worry about that!

Can I build a plan over a number of days / sessions? As I entered my A races, and B races to produce an initial plan. I thought I’d then start entering C races and refining the plan. But somehow I have lost everything and have to enter all the races again which is a bit of a pain.

Enter in the calendar all races 1st and then do the plan. That way you can make and delete plans and the races will always be there.

Exactly, if you enter your races/events inside of Plan Builder then those events become part of the Plan. So if you delete the plan to view other scenarios your events are gone as well. Put all of your events via the Calendar then they will remain no matter what you do inside of Plan Builder. You can always change events in the future and Plan Builder will prompt you if you want your plan to change to accommodate the new race/event.

That should not be the case (could have been a bug that should be fixed now).

Just one thought, which might have been mentioned elsewhere: what about an allowance for masters athletes to set a change to the typical recovery week cycle? Possibly, choose from standard recovery cycle, hybrid cycle (normal one round, normal - 1 week the next round), or masters recovery cycle?

Other than that, awesome product!

My 1st plan i built in with races added in the plan not in calendar and they were erased when I changed deleting that plan and adding a new one so i learned that time (in the 1st days of plan builder) to add first in calendar and then make the plan. If its fixed now better.

Feature request–I’d like to see a “repeat event” feature on planbuilder. I do a weekly crit series. They’re C races, but it’d be nice to not have to enter each Wednesday individually. I’d love to enter once and have an option to repeat weekly for X weeks.

Yep I want to use the bike and run parts. I’ll probably change the content of run workout but I like to schedule run ones knowing which bike workout will be in the day before/after : vo2 max same day, brick,…

Triathlon Specialty doesn’t show up in the overview. it just states " Full Distance Triathlon - Mid Volume" Can we add Specialty back in ?

Thanks for the fast reply! I wanted to update the existing plan. I couldn´t figure out how to adjust it, so i walked through the steps of building an existing one. Maybe I´m just too stupid to klick the right button. How do i delete an existing plan? THANKS!

Go the the calendar and the star day for the plan. Click the plan annotation and there will be a delete icon. Click and and confirm, then it will be removed.

First up loving plan builder , TR is the gift that keeps on giving :grin:, I just want to know how best to plan for cyclo-cross as every weekend for 10-15 weeks is a race, can you class them all as B events as I want to perform well across the board rather than peak for 1 or 2.

The best way to do this is to add your event OUTSIDE the plan builder, simply from the calendar. When adding events to the calendar, but not as part of a plan, they do have a «repeat event» function with which you can do exactly what you want.

There is a second benefit: events created INSIDE a plan get deleted if the plan gets deleted (because they’re part of the plan). Events created OUTSIDE a plan do not get deleted if you delete the plan, which then lets you set up your events and try several runs through Plan Builder without losing your events. Much easier and more convenient overall.
