You have both the RS spring fall and the t.tiburu? How do they compare? Can’t find much assos stuff at local retailers. I’m guessing most stuff is purchased directly from assos online. Always worried about getting dinged on import duties.
The only real difference is the cut. The Tiburu was essentially identical to the S7 Equipe, and these are like the S9. Not sure if you have worn any S9s yet, but it is a little lower rise and a little more compressive than the S7.
I’m trying to decide the size. I’m wearing medium mille GT bibs. But my thermal t.607 are large and fit nicely also. I found a pair of Tiburu in large. If your saying the compression is like équipe, which I believe are high compression, then I should get large. Assos sizing says I should get large. I’m 5’11, 165, 35” waists. Not too crazy about the short rise for the s9 for colder weather riding.
I’d say you are definitely a large. I’m 5’11" also, but 155 lbs and 32 waist and I’m at top of M sizing
Thanks. Just found tiburu shorts in L on sale for $199 Canadian tax in. Got the last one. Couldn’t pass on the deal.thanks everyone again for inputs.
We call that summer here in Scotland.
Once it gets to 5 degrees here, snow and road salting is imminent. Fall lasts 1 month before freezing weather sets in. Spring lasts 2 months until it gets hot enough to ride without arm warmers.
+1 on the Omloops, no hesiation buying the same again when they wear out.
