Incline Village Trails

Hi all, driving up to Tahoe / Incline Village this weekend and was thinking of taking my MTB. Any easy trail recommendations? I was thinking of doing parts of the Flume trail but don’t see any attempts on Strava this year, which makes me think it might be closed?

I only had a gravel bike but I rode the first part of the first segment you posted last year. I started from down hwy 431 a bit.

It is super fun flattish single track through super beautiful forest. Pretty much the best thing ever.

It then starts going downhill pretty steep and I was unsure about how crazy it would get and so I just tuned around and would do out and back rides.

awesome! Do you know if the trails are open these days?

I’m in Reno and have been riding here for 20 years. I would have to say the Incline Flume is still snowed in…lots of shade and still quite a bit of snow above about 6500 ft. You might be OK from the Incline Flume intersection/431 intersection down towards Incline but any higher will still have snow. A lot of trails in Truckee are open as well as Clear Creek, Ash & Kings Cyn down In Carson City.

@craigmanning @tooongs bummer but thanks for the info!

Some of the South Lake trails like Tahoe Mountain and Corral are open. So is Emigrant in Truckee. Dry Pond on the Reno side of Mt Rose is open too.

Easy is a relative term but Emigrant is the easiest of these. You should look at Trailforks for ratings and descriptions.
