When it comes to weather, I know of people who use Fahrenheit for high temperatures but use Celsius for cold temperatures. This pleases me greatly.
When I was younger and on holiday (or about to go) I would follow that trend, “its 100deg plus”, it sounds better and more impressive than 38deg (C) plus. Growing up in Scotland where its often cold its easier to process minus (deg C) numbers than 21-32deg (F) numbers which sounds too big As I’ve grown up though with deg C being everywhere here its become more dominant to me
