Ideas to keep Traxle from scratching carbon frame?

Does anyone have any ideas on how to keep a through axle adapter, a Kinetic Traxle in this case, from scratching a carbon frame? The spacer and nut on the drive side are tightened in a way that they directly contact the frame and I’m trying to protect the paint job and carbon. One of these days I’ll get a direct drive trainer, but in the mean time I’m trying to find a solution. Current ideas are cutting a piece a clear vinyl to mount on the dropout and then maybe using a really thin nylon washer.

Before you take any recommendation I would reach out to Kurt directly:

That said, if you had access to a delrin washer of the correct ID/OD and thickness (IMO 0.5 - 1mm thick) I would use that. A second option would be to buy some adhesive felt pads and cut them to size. You might be able to find what you need through McMaster, MSC or Grainger’s websites.

Another option would be something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Caydo-Adhesive-Self-Adhesive-Resistant-Multi-Purpose/dp/B076P51CHW?ref_=fsclp_pl_dp_1

Those are great tips, thank you! I’ll ask Kurt directly too.
