Absolutely i followed the Plan. The „Problem“ is not my real FTP its the Prediction.
Like i wrote;
After sickness the new FTP was 273w, 5 Workouts later the prediction is 293w, the next day after a Rest day 273w, the same day at the evening 280w, this morning 275w?
Every few hours the Prediction jumps up and down without any impact from outside. You know what i mean?
I think this is a huge part to thrust the system, fist you get 20w plus: oh wow thats cool, a few hours later gut get 0w: pah for what i‘m doing this all. Its a bit like a motivation killer.
But i have also the same feeling like you see in my calendar i have often some similar rides and the dont get easier over time at the sam wattage in my feeling.
That was a great effort, you must be happy with that
In fairness to TR, you don’t seem to be following a plan and do lots of off plan fun things!
In the main TR have had your AIFTP in the 253 to 265 range (Nov 24 to July 25), were they getting it wrong then too?
Since then they’ve dropped you down to 236, which seems way off your current ability, hopefully the NP of 303 will get you an FTP boost on the next AIFTP. I’d load a plan, turn on AIFTP and see what it gives you.
midnight is mentioned by OP or in thread responses (justed used as example), I am pretty sure the podcasts with J&Nate that discuss the updates and subsequent FAQ/rebutals of issues on their podcast also mention Noon… but maybe i have it flipped.
I relistened to the last 2 Nate episodes last night/this morning and didn’t hear them mention a time in either one.
I do recall Jonathon mentioning something in the last episode with Hannah that if you normally work out in the morning and you login to workout in the afternoon that it might give you something else. I was thinking this maybe what you meant when saying noon earlier which is why I wanted to listen again to see if I missed a more formal explanation.
The reason wasn’t that it flipped to something else after noon but that the system saw the extra rest time since the last work out. So instead of assuming you’d do it at 6am like you usually do now its hours later and maybe you can do more work. He didn’t say this in any sort of official capacity just was more that time is a factor in the changes and has been interesting to see how the AI handles that.
Yeah, I guess Nate’s explanations in 573 at minute 49, made me think Noon was infact a trigger point in the system. But listening to it a couple times, idk either way.
Still confused about even their confusion with how Heart rate is being used?!?! lol As if the AI engine is running wild at this point… lol
Since this is in the FTP prediction section according to the podcast/video markers. Maybe he is referring to the cut off point for FTP prediction on that future date? Since it would need a time to theoretically run the model up through. Not sure I am any less confused now either.
