What shocks me most about perimenopause is how little the medical profession seems to know about it. Across different providers and medical groups. You’d think it was some new disease that we’ve just discovered.

Didn’t mean to offend with my simile.
Feels like it though! I went through masses of horrid investigations and repeated tests for a number of years before they finally gave me HRT which sorted most of the issues.

Yes! totally agree.Depressed nearly 70 year old here. It just seems to be a battle post menopause to deal with the loss of strength ,muscle, etc
