Help fix in-ride text typos; post them here šŸ‘‡

Not really a typo, but noticed in Joe Devel (and would guess in other workouts too) it says something like ā€œif you’re on a smart trainer like a Kickr or Computrainerā€. Considering support for computrainer is discontinued, wouldn’ it make sense to take that out?

There’s some errors in Wynne +1 . Before the last 4 30 second intervals it says there are 3 left, also I think it says ā€œyou are at the last intervalā€ or something similar when there is 2 more intervals left.

Spelling error in Karakoram and it’s +1 and +2 variations.

Thor -1 tells you in the 5th interval (just before 1 hour) that it’s the last…but there are still 3 more to come. Thats just cruel!

This in the workout itself, not the text: In Monadnock +2, the first interval is 116%, and the remaining five are all 115%. Is that intentional? The workout description just says 115%:

Monadnock +2 consists of 2 sets of 3x4-minute VO2max intervals at 115% FTP.

I don’t know if this would be a @chad question or whoever, but I did Rubicon +1 today. It is 3x10min @105% and comes in Week 6 of Oly Specialty LV but the workout text is all about this being part of the taper and to focus on recover… that it’s a set down from previous workouts… but it’s most definitely an increase from the previous week which was 5x7min @105%.

I guess that in some other plan it is used that way, but it was a little mentally challenging to get into it reading about how it should be easier but knowing it was my last step up before my taper next week.

Sorry about that, @ntdeck. That was indeed a recovery version workout for a higher volume plan. I’ll get in there and rework that text to be a little less specific.

Awesome! Thanks!

The good news is that I muscled though it and feel good about myself now lol

Hi, did Joe Develop today, good workout, but some of the text times where wrong, 3 minutes when only 2 minutes to the next interval, and then in a few places saying the interval about to start when there were a couple of minutes. Sorry I can’t be more exact…

Description for Beacon -3 starts off with ā€œBeacon -2 is stillā€¦ā€ — copy-and-paste oversight.

Not an ā€œin-rideā€ typo, but typo non the less. Found this in the description of Hawk Mountain. The workout is 2 hours long, but the description starts with ā€œHawk Mountain is 2 hours 15 minutesā€¦ā€

In Tunemah it says perferably instead of preferably at the start of the sweetspot warmup around 6:10 minutes into the workout.

Dragon -2. I found two, that are probably holdovers from regular Dragon:

Before the start of the first interval it says something about 8 sets, though -2 has only 6.

Before the start of the 3rd interval it says something about it being the longest interval in the workout, though in this version it is one of the shortest.

Did Antelope this morning and about halfway through I spotted a typo in ā€œrecognizeā€ (or something similar), appearing as ā€œrecoginzeā€ (or similar).

In Lamarck, around the start of the 2nd or 3rd interval the text goes through a tension check of the arms.
Starts with the grip, then moves up and mentions softening the shoulders (which I believe is meant to be elbows) and then goes on to mention shoulders again (i.e. dropping the shoulders)

Not Ā« in ride Ā» typo, but description typo.

Whorl workout’s description says :

Whorl consists of 75 minutes of aerobic Endurance work spent between 60-75% FTP.

In reality, maximum FTP target for the workout is 70%.

Similarly to above, not an in ride typo, but in the Full Distance Triathlon Base - High Volume plan, the Sunday run in week 11 says;

ā€œLongest run of this 8-week planā€

Taylor -2 first interval set i saw ā€œ5 to goā€¦ā€then a few mins later saw ā€œ5 to goā€¦ā€

Could have been my phone but man that was disappointing to find out I had more to go lol

Baxter -1. 75min workout that says 90mins in the text

The use of ā€œwattageā€ instead of power on the recent podcast. Nate’s verbiage is spreading (got Jonathan first, now Chad).
This is science (not rpm’s, wattage, mile-per-hourage?)
