Has anyone tried an Edco Monoblock cassette (aka prestacycle uniblock cassette)?

Seems like a low-cost ($169) lightweight 11 speed cassette, but I’m not sure the shifting quality will be as good as the SRAM/Shimano alternatives. I searched for reviews but couldn’t find much.

SRAM Red 11-32: 196g | 11-12-13-14-15-17-19-22-25-28-32
Edco Monoblock 11-32: 214g | 11-12-13-14-15-16-18-21-24-28-32
Shimano Ultegra 11-32: 292g | 11-12-13-14-16-18-20-22-25-28-32

Shimano DA 11-30: 211g | 11-12-13-14-15-17-19-21-24-27-30

Just looked on their site. Trying to figure out why their 11-34 shimano 11-speed cassette is 103 grams heavier than the 11-34 shimano 12-speed cassette? Doesn’t make any sense.

elevenspeed = [11,13,15,17,19,21,23,25,28,30,34]
twelvespeed = [11,12,13,14,15,17,19,21,24,27,30,34]

elevenspeed.map(x=>x/2).map(x=>x**2).reduce((a,b)=>(a+b), 0) // 1400
twelvespeed.map(x=>x/2).map(x=>x**2).reduce((a,b)=>(a+b), 0) // 1326.75

Seems odd but could be possible, w/ a rough estimate it looks like the 12 speed cassette does have less material due to smaller jumps between high gears (more small cogs vs large cogs).

I will report

Can’t really tell much of a difference to Ultegra. Initially in the stand shifting was poor. Installed a 1mm spacer which came with the cassette. Improved everything. Optimal chanline seemed to be off a tiny bit. Perhaps it shifts a tad slower than Ultegra but this is difficult to tell. Out riding you can’t really tell a difference. At least with my set-up.
