Has Adaptive Training Plateaued My Progress? A Data-Backed Review (With Help From AI)

He never mentioned anaerobic capacity. He said" “cyclists with more experience digging super deep in structured training tend to see their FTP overestimated in ramp tests”.

Why are you saying he said something he said he didn’t? You post things that aren’t true and try to engage in pointless debates.

In any case, I don’t agree that it has anything to do with experience. It has to do with whether one leans slow twitch or fast twitch. A slow twitch rider will be on the lower side of the ramp test range and a fast twitch rider (aka high anaerobic capacity) will be on the higher side of the range.

I’d rather not debate this with you anymore. It seems pointless to debate things from others that were even said in the first place.

This is a generalization, but I find that less experienced cyclists perform relatively better with anaerobic efforts than sustained efforts. The athletes that I know with that are relatively weak anaerobically are the ones that spend years doing Z2 and very rarely do anaerobic intensity.
