Congratulations @mcneese.chad! Well deserved! Such a thoughtful gesture by @Nate_Pearson and the TR team. Not only is TR such an amazing training tool, I feel like there is a true connection to the employees/community. The forum is a such a great resource. Any question Iāve asked, has always been answered with knowledgeable adviceā¦and a lot of it! Keep up the good work all.
This.
Iāve been involved in discussion boards since 20-odd years. Good moderation is key, and you contributed a lot to that!
I still think itās a Trek gravel adventure and I wonāt be looking it up to spoil that idea.
I canāt believe they havenāt done an April Fools prank with that yet.
I really love this whole exchange, but maybe the best part was that it took him a day or so to show up to see it. Really fun. Ive learned a lot from @mcneese.chad and the other one. Hope you have an awesome trip.
Iād say ācome to Minnesotaā but that would be a dumb way to waste a trip of a lifetime!
That and the fact that I lived there for a year as a kid leaves me looking for ānewā places too. Great place and I really liked the Chanhassen (sp) area we lived in.
One wonderful part about this thread was scrolling through and seeing all the names of not only the TR team and @mcneese.chad , but the regulars like @bbarrera and so many others that have helped make this forum a safe, generous and insightful place. Thank you all and enjoy your trip chad!
Love this, @mcneese.chad and @Nate_Pearson! Chad, thanks for taking the time to reply to so many posts and sharing your wealth of wisdom. Huge benefit to the TR community. Cheers!
You can come and visit Edinburgh, Scotland any time you like
I need to check the trips, but that would actually be in the running.
Wow. Thats a generous gift @Nate_Pearson
Well deserved @mcneese.chad !
You are probably one of the most, if not the most helpful person in the forum!
congrats!!!
That reminded me. I wanted to share some user stats from the āAll Timeā forum history (pics set at 75% for space, but you can open them to see full size). Here are the Halls of Fame

This is awesome! Way to go @Nate_Pearson and @mcneese.chad !! I know I am late to the game on the congrats, but just wanted to add my congrats to both TR and Chad. I would second that this forum is a GREAT space for dialog and community!
Iām showing up on too many of those lists lol
edit: at least I have the high riding volume to match my forum volume, otherwise Iād have to tell myself to be online less and ride more!
LOL, I know some people might see those as a Hall of Shame instead
Not only do I have to up my FTP but I have to up my forum game. Is there a thumbs up to kg ratio that would make me a Cat 1 forum contributor?
Nice move @Nate_Pearson.
I have been a business owner now for 26 years and I continually see things that you do that causes me say to myself, āthat was good moveā. It usually has to do with things that you do for your employees. You are clearly a very unselfish person and recognize the value of your team and others. No doubt this is a major key, if not THE major key to the success of TR.
Keep it up.
I went through those lists and recognised nearly all the names as great contributors to threads I have been searching & reading .
Yes, indeed. We have many active contributors, with a depth of knowledge across so many topics that is nothing short of impressive. I do a fair bit of searching within the forum to find referral topics on new and repeat posts. Sometimes I also search into Google, and itās funny to see how many times the Google search results have one or more TR forum topics as the lead results
This group is about as close to āone stop shoppingā for cycling and training info as possible. Quite an amazing resource.
