Gratitude for Podcast

Reading the Harvard Business Review today for work and came across the following statement:

“After all, studies have shown that feelings of gratitude improve relationships, enhance feelings of support, and increase prosocial behavior.” The authors contrast mistreatment (characterized by putting people down) with gratitude (aimed at lifting people up), citing a gratitude intervention as a way of reducing uncivil behavior.

To explore and expand my horizons. That mindset helped get me through 2020, both on and off the bike.

What am I thankful for? The knowledge that I’m not the only person sitting on a trainer, in a cold garage at stupid o’clock in the morning, chasing a variety of blue blocks. Sometimes you do just need reminding that you haven’t cracked!
