Great race. I took it very slow at the beginning, so it was ~OK until the last 2 km of Galibier. Then I recovered on the descent to the beginning of Sarenne, so Sarrenne was relatively OK, but then I found the last 10km very hard as I thought it was only a small uphill portion…
I agree the personalized video you receive is very nice.
Only problems :
- getting there was a nightmare (3hours for Vizille to Alpe d’Huez. Normally it’s 1hour)
- unfortunately many accidents. I saw 3 severe ones in the downhill from X de Fer (and I heard there was a 4th one), and 2 in the evening after the race (people going down from Alpe d’Huez). Hope they are well, but it was pretty scary.
