Small update on these - I love them every time more. Been spending time in the alps, and keeping target power is so much easier than looking at the bike computer (which I basically no longer look at).
Also great when speeding on descents, to look at speed (helps me to know if worth pedalling or not, since I mostly ride low gearing and rev out at about 65kph).
I had an issue where a small part of the glasses got lost during a long and shaky gravel race (The Rift 2023), and the glasses got repaired in 3 working days (from sending to receiving - I’m UK based, and they are France based). The functionality wasn’t affected, other than seeing a bit of glare under certain angles).
I only use one screen (RPM at the top, Power in the middle, and speed and HR at the bottom (smaller font)), and disabled the hand sensor, at it wasn’t useful to me (it would just toggle between that screen, and an empty screen), and would sometimes do “false positive” toggle (long hair, and/or heavy rain).
I’ve been riding in very sunny days from early afternoon to sunset, and find the sun protection just right, but am almost tempted in getting the chromatic ones for night riding, as I don’t want to forgo the way the info is displayed on night rides.
