In an attempt to aid the AI in its understanding of how I function when ramping up power/coming back from injury, I am curious if I need to adjust the approach.
I have a fairly bookended power zone. I can diesel along at high z2 and I have a very high anaerobic contribution which makes short and high power work pretty easy and fun! While having to work in threshold zone is very challenging.
the new program is being overly aggressive with my base plan. Last weeks hard intervals were admittedly harder than they should have ever been at this part of my training schedule. I’ve adjusted the overall approach and nothing changed. Unfortunately I have to set the approach of the plan to demanding or higher to not have it red flag me every week.
if I set Sweetspot and threshold to balanced or lower, will it adjust those parts of the plan respectively? I am not one to shy away from SS work as it has always been foundational to me not being “slow”.
Since the old AI never truly analyzed my outdoor data, anything v02 and above was rarely hard enough in workouts. I’m wondering if custom approaches can influence this.
