would it be possible to add an Edit mode of sorts to the calendar view of the WebUI to allow editing the calendar without triggering the AI to make follow-up adaptations? When restructuring a few weeks to account for the real world, it’s a bit annoying to always wait for the recalculation to finish, and as an environmental conscious user it would likely also save a bit of energy (and money for TR) to allow for some editing before clicking on an „All Done“ button to signal to the AI that it can now start conjuring its magic to make me faster within the new constraints ;
I’m with you on this, because the repeated recalculations make big calendar cleanups feel slow and fiddly. A simple pause adaptations toggle with a single apply changes action at the end would make batch edits much smoother and cut down on unnecessary compute.
I also wanted to mention that since we’ve trained our own model and it isn’t an LLM it’s not a huge power suck. A Google search probably takes up more energy.
It’s problematic that a single workout rearrangement (pull forward a workout 1 day for scheduling) causes the app to recalculate the entire plan and hang. I move a workout when I want to do it, not when I want to wait minutes for an entire refresh
@tlaif are you making these changes from the web or straight from your iPhone’s app? And you mentioned it takes minutes, do you know how many minutes? So I can take this to the team.
If it is straight from the iPhone app, lets make sure you are:
Closing off other open apps so the TR app can run more smoothly.
Have enough storage (at least 2GB)
Are on the latest iPhone software
Your battery icon is not on power save mode. The icon should be green and not yellow.
Typically from my iPhone which is the latest 17 pro with 500g storage. I would prefer not to close other apps.
I shouldn’t need to make specific accommodations for TR app and very little should actually be running on my phone directly. It is just making a web request.
