had till now the exact the same problem when upgrade from 10-50T to 10-52T.

new casette, new RD AXS, new chain, all XX1 - a lot of money…
I had hard time to fine tune the original GX, but in time settled down.
the new setup was worst at begining - either 1-6 or 7-12 ok, but not entire range.
Inspired by this post, I went to local AD, they have service as well.
the hanger was off.
hanger alligned but the same, a little bit better.
He said “nothing to do”.
As last resort I asked them to change the hanger with a new one… they have not original, only OEM…
Now I had the issue you mention.
At home I tried a tighter B gap.
Indeed I made it work.
But when B gap was set to permit 12-11, then 2 to 1 was loud as upper pulley was overlapping (touching) larger cog (1).
Too dangerous.
therefore:
I ordered CUBE original spare part, came also with the thread where the wheel axle enters.
Looks better, stays tight in the frame
and … shifting is perfect… microadjust 16 to 14 and is a dream.
my experience with 3x8, 3x10, 2x11, 1x12 is that tolerances are tighter, and every bit of tenth of milimeter counts.
also yes, as somebody said already, the local service man they have skills, but somehow do not want when to go a step deeper.
