Dogma f or SL8 S works

I would add a pig snout. Good for some extra sniffs

I have - they’re both very similar in ride feel and even closer by our testing stats: weight was within 50g (albeit Red vs Dura Ace) and aero (in our wind tunnel test) was statistically equal.

Although the SL8 is an excellent bike, OP should be very happy with the Dogma. And if he likes it more - and rides it more as a result - it’ll be the one that makes him faster.

New bike day, today.

I eventually opted for Dura ace which was based on aesthetics rather than performance.

2 hours after getting back after my first ride I find I’m still smiling …

Nice!
I’m guessing it’s super stiff, how does it ride on the rough roads?

Coming from an old Tarmac SL5 on 25mm types pumped to 100psi and moving to 28mm tubeless (70psi f 75 rear) it rides smoothly.

I’ve read multiple press stories about a harsh ride, from my limited experience I think the ride is sublime and the roads around the north west of England are pretty shocking .

I appreciate that in comparison to other bikes the ride may be considered harsh but nothing else stirred my emotions as mush as the Dogma.

As for stiffness and acceleration, I haven’t the skill to determine if that’s the frame or wheel set or maybe a bit from both.

I had a feeling you are from the UK which is why I asked, as our roads are awful!

Thanks for the feedback, it’s a great looing bike and one I’m tempted by.

The move to wider tires at lower pressures definitely makes a huge difference.

That is still a lot of pressure…you can probably take out at least 5 psi more with no issue.

Tire pressure depends on you own weight (and rim width)…

I have 28mm tubeless tires, on 23mm internal width rims (tires measure 30mm), and have 4 bar (58 psi) in the rear and a little bit less on the front. My weight is 76 kg/ 168 lbs)

Just feeling my way currently👍

It’s a lovely feeling riding on a relative low pressure and enjoying a low rolling resistance.
