Death to erg mode

I liked this too until I was spinning out my smallest cog and still unable to hit target #s :confused:

I’ve ridden Kickr, Saris, Taxc.

I always ride in just standard mode, there something about erg that just feels so unnatural to me, like weird grind that just taxing on the body.

If you gave me 3x20 minutes in erg I would be dying head down knees hurting hardly able to get through it.

Trainer just plugged in making my own effort without erg I’m killing it, great Cadance high or low hitting my power and my tss planned for that workout.

That just me everyone is different some people don’t notice it, just depends on person, and as long as you can get the work done and meet the goal needed for that workout than all is good.

What’s the disadvantage of using regular mode? I guess ERG mode keeps us honest?
