Another great wheelset via @teddygram. Great experience and wheels are perfect for the fat bike.

It turns out small is too big for me. Long arms and a bit baggy. But I think maybe the jersey is for the average fitness rider and meant to leave space for layers.

Thanks for posting, I’ve been looking for a sale on the outlander for a while now. Just ordered one.

Love my Outlander but wish I had gone up to the Outlander Pro for the 2L bladder vs 1.5 and the removable tube for cleaning. The Outlander is good for short to medium rides but has little to no carrying capacity. It really does not move around so expect a snug fit.

I actually did order the outlander pro and am very happy to have my choice validated!

100% agree that the quick release valve is worth every penny.

I will say that a downside to USWE bladders is that the bite valve starts to drip after a year or two of use. I’ve had it happen to multiple valves, and it’s not just that I do something weird with it because my wife had the same issue.

I just ordered both… the pro for me and a pink outlander for my ol lady.

Thanks for the heads up, no way was I going to pay retail price for one of those.

That’s a nice deal, until you factor in the $200-$1600 postage…

Easy and cheap to replace the bite valve - Bite valve

And some better upgraded versions depending on which one you have. Valve with on/off

Tacx Neo 2T for $899 at several places, including BTD, REI, Amazon, Mikes Bikes…

Wonder if there’s something new coming?

I don’t know, could be trying to keep up with sale prices on KICKR’s too.

Our “team” USMES, is sponsored by Osprey which uses the same bite valves. I personally despise them and replace them with Camelbak valves & shutoffs. Still need to replace valves once a year though.

Yeah, I think this is the most reasonable option….just treat them as a wear and tear item that will need to be occasionally replaced.

Isn’t there a Neo 3M already?

Yes, but the 2T has still been available. With everyone putting them on sale at the same time, I’m wondering if there’s something new coming.
