Okay cool, I’ve always been worried I’d order and get a knock off POS. Some of the prices seemed too good to be true. But I’m looking to build up a MTB this year so maybe I’ll be hitting it up.
I’ve never had any actual issues with them. Years ago they had a weird way of processing at least some types of credit cards that concerned me, but I believe it was just a store front problem that doesn’t exist anymore.
I’ve bought several things from there over the years.

Supposed to be lighter than aluminum and reviews seem decent from a quick google search. Seems like a solid bike for ~$1k.
For a bike with 105 groupset that’s a solid deal.

It’s also softer. I know this was tried in the past and the industry drifted away from it, but I don’t know why.

Manufacturing challenges and costs were big reasons…but more importantly, market acceptance. At roughly the same time, carbon was emerging as the dominant frame material and there was zero reason to continue to push magnesium.
Had aluminum continued as a major frame material at the high end, then perhaps magnesium could have played a role…but once aluminum was forced into the lower price points by carbon, magnesium just couldn’t compete from a cost / manufacturing perspective.
