I think we need a separate thread to debate what to name some threads

Nah, keep us guessing when we see that unread messages count! Adds an element of danger to the whole thing – “danger” as in not finding a deal.

Lazer Sphere Mips is going for $80, in matte black and white. It round fit works great for Asians and those with a round head profile. I’m an Asian with a round head, for context

Helmets can be like saddles, especially if you have a big head. The shape can make them uncomfortable or not sit right. I finally found a helmet I really like and bought an extra one.

Just get a KAV that’s custom printed for your head and be done with trying to fit in someone else’s mold.

Hey all,

Just wanted to introduce myself and my new business venture, Threshold Cycling, to the TrainerRoad community! Like many of you, I’m a huge fan of TrainerRoad and have relied on it for a couple of years now. But your kit and gear can make a huge difference in your ride, and that’s where Threshold Cycling comes in.

I’m offering a curated selection of premium cycling jerseys, bibs, shorts, socks, shoes, and accessories – all designed with comfort, performance, and a touch of panache in mind. Whether you’re crushing Zwift workouts or hitting trail or tarmac, Threshold has you covered.

Threshold is not as big as other shops (like Competitive Cyclist) - and I won’t lie, I’m just getting started out. But our prices are competitive and I’m working daily to add more products to the selection.

As a fellow TrainerRoad subscriber, I wanted to offer you all a special welcome. Use code THRESHOLD10 at checkout for 10% off your first order at ThresholdCycling.com. Plus, we offer free shipping in the US for orders over $100. I’m looking at other incentives as well, but more on that in the future

Check us out and let me know what you think! I’d love to hear your feedback, positive or constructive.

Best,

Steve

Owner, Threshold Cycling

Fresh set of wheels bought via @teddygram from NEXTIE. Putting a set of summer wheel together my Pivot Les Fat. Had time to tape and mount tires. Anxious to get the cassette and rotors on so I can ride them Thursday.

Review of process: Super easy purchase/payment and stellar communications from the start to delivery. Packaging looked great on arrival and rims were super easy to mount the tires. These are 40mm 27.5 mounted to DT350 Big Ride hub.

Anyone have issues with sweat messing up the touch screen function, that’s my only reservation. This is a great deal though; I just bought a 540 for about the same price and it’s not too late to return.

840 touchscreen has been flawless, even in December in pouring down rain with rainproof gloves on.

Haven’t had my 840 long… short enough to be annoyed they are on sale, long enough I couldn’t return/price match it :frowning:

Only sweat related issue I had was one time on the trainer, couple sweat drips scrolled the page. But that is mounted between my aero bars, face a few inches away no wind clearing the sweat off. I can’t see it being an issue in the real world.

I initially was going to go 540 to save a few bucks, but realized I couldn’t give up touch and glad I didn’t.

Same here with the 1040. I’ve ridden in some torrential downpours and have had zero issues with either ghost button-presses or missing actual, intentional swipes. Really, no difference at all in performance in dry weather or a hard rain.
