DCRainmaker's Mouv Smart Bike Review Out

This looks pretty sweet. But the pricing, at least to me, has become  Especially if you are looking at it to share with a partner, and would need to buy a second frame

Yes - the price is pretty eye watering. Unfortunately I didn’t short the market with all the DUMP dibs, so this is out of my price range

Yeah, price is what it is but I would be still interested to feel the promised movement :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah. IDK about the value proposition for me. I have a full motion platform and the main thing is that the saddle/bike can move some and isn’t a rigid immovable object. I find this greatly improves overall comfort. The fact that it isn’t a “realistic” motion doesn’t matter as far as I’m concerned. But then I’m not a ZWIFTER, Rouvyist, or other sort of indoor riding enthusiast. I just wanna knock out the workouts when it’s not practical to ride outside.

I’m on the opposite side. I’ve done trainer on hardwood, the Kickr Core tennis ball feet, all the way up to a full rocker board. I wouldn’t say anything made it more comfortable. I actually sold my rocker board because it didn’t feel any different to me than on a hard floor comfort-wise. So unless you can simulate a real world feel for the trainer, I’m not paying any extra for a rocking motion.

Not to argue with you, but have you tried anything with fore/aft motion? For me, I like the side to side, but fore/aft was a bit of a game changer.

No, it was just side to side.

I’ve actually been kind of unhappy with my JetBlack trainer. Maybe upgrade to the Kickr Move this winter.
