This is correct and what I was meaning above. Anyone who has raced bikes knows that the minute the gun goes off, FTPs and weights go out the door except for the 50 or so people a year who are trying to climb the Tourmalet in under an hour. If you want to track your weight and FTP obsessively, by all means go ahead (I think it’s actually a good way to track personal health progress and fitness), but don’t act like it’s going to equate to speed and wins. Those are two different things. “It’s physics” lol sounds like someone who has found a reason to come in 2nd honestly
