Combined Zwift + TrainerRoad subscription

I’ve been using Trainerroad exclusively via Zwift for a for months now and consider it a legitimate training upgrade.

Though we all kid ourselves that staring at the static blue bars was/ is fine, my experience is that the added distractions of Zwift help hugely with the mental side of things. Not sure I could ever go back now.

Issue is obviously cost. In the UK Zwift is £17.99 and TR is somewhere from £17 - £19 depending on exchange rate. Call it £36 a month or an eye-watering £432 a year.

Are there any plans for Zwift to buy TR and offer a combined package for say, £25?

Considering that Zwift won’t even offer a family plan with discounted rates for additional family members, I would find this highly unlikely.

FWIW: I’m not interested in Zwift so wouldn’t want to pay more for a TR that included Zwift. I think it improbable that that merger would happen, but if it did, I’d want an option to continue TR without a higher subscription fee due to including Zwift.

There aren’t any plans that I’m aware of regarding a bundled subscription or anything similar.

I’ll report back if I hear anything different down the road!

Yep, Its getting $$ and the reason that I use TR and Whoosh. Not perfect but Im coming to focus on those blue lines for training .
