Is there a guide to what TR considers easy/moderate/hard/very hard? It seems that if an endurance ride is hard or a threshold ride is easy, something should be set wrong, or maybe I’m misunderstanding. I could use some guidance on what to respond when the intervals seemed just right for where I’m at…

Right, the relative Workout Level compared to your current Progression Level absolutely matters. Those specific “Difficulty” categories are based upon that comparison. So, a “4 - Very Hard” response for an “Achievable” workout vs “Breakthrough” workout should lead to different results from AT.
