I have a Micra AV2 pacemaker do to AV conduction heart block. The problem with training is that it does not allow my heart rate to elevate properly. The sensors are based on accelerometers not respiratory sensors. I was wondering if any one else in the forum had this type of pacemaker and was able to have it function properly with bicycling. It is a wireless single chamber pacemaker that is placed in the right ventricle. Also, any bicyclists who were diagnosed with AV block, have a different type of pacemaker that allows properly elevation of heart rate.
