Is there a way to remove activities from the calendar? I know there was but canāt find it nowā¦
Yes. You can right-click/delete, or left-click the activity and click the trash can icon in the drawer.
Sorry⦠should have been more specific. āWalksā have begun to show up in my calendar. In the Beta you could click what activities you wanted to show in the calendar. Looking how to āturn offā the walks showing up.
Great timing. Restarting TR sub next week. Hope all goodies developed during my absense are really worthy.
The distance we show within TR here is always the ārawā data reported by your device. The distance youāre seeing on Strava is determined by your Strava sync settings. I suspect you have āVirtual Speed and Distanceā selected, which gives a more realistic estimated speed and distance than the one your trainer reports. You can change this by clicking Account > Activity Sync and then clicking the āSettingsā button in the Strava window.
Thanks for the reply. Loving the new look to the calendar!
Weāve never had an option to filter specific activities from appearing on the calendar. When our support for new sport types was a beta feature, you could have turned it off entirely, which would have removed anything that wasnāt a swim, bike ride, or run from syncing into TrainerRoad. Is this what youāre thinking of? Now that itās not a beta feature, there unfortunately isnāt a way to filter other sport types out, but I will add it to the list of feature suggestions.
Also, itās not quite what youāre asking for, but I should mention you can filter by activity type on the Past Activities page, located under the Career in the main navigation at left.
So no way to use the calendar on mobile without using the app?
Thatās correct, on small mobile devices the App calendar is your go-to.
That must have been it⦠Thanks so much!
I did a IM event last weekend. My swim does not show up on the calendar? Ignore the run part, I hit lap on my watch on accident and had to create a separate activity mid race. ![]()
Wow wow wow! Great job!!
Iām seeing your swim from my end! Are you able to see it now or are you still unable to see the swim from your Calendar? If not, can you try a different browser please?
Let me know how you get on ![]()
Thank you!
I still canāt see it on my end. It shows as a grey box (like it wasnāt completed). I tried it in chrome and edge browsers.
During the run I accidentally hit lap on my watch, which ended the activity. After that, I had to start a new activity. Wondering if it has to do with having to many activities that day, they wonāt all show up in the box?
Aaaah okay, I see. I impersonated you and I see what youāre seeing now. Iām going to look into this for you. Iāll get back to you when I have more info
. You have to get full credit for all of that work!!
Seriously, itās like it didnāt happen! Lol.
Thank you, appreciate the quick response on this! Loving then new calendar, itās awesome.
Hahaha Iām sure your body is keeping the score. But weāll put the record straight and make sure everyone knows it happened
.
The team are going to look into this when they are back in next week. In the meantine, you can view the swim workout from the TR app, which Iām sure you already know.
Thank you so much for the positive feedback - we appreciate it
.
Iāll be in touch next week! Have a great weekend!
New calendar is apparently here. Looks great. Iām unable to drag workouts (scheduled by my current training plan, no time set). Instead, the browser tries to select text. This is on a Chrome variant (Vivaldi 7.0.3495.10, current release).
Interesting, we havenāt seen this one before. Weāll take a look.
Much appreciated. A few more details: Tried it without extensions to rule out any variables there, no change. Tested on both Windows and macOS, same behavior. That said, it does appear to be successful maybe 1 in 10 attempts; I wonder if thereās some weird race condition at play. Will share if I find anything interesting.
Any chance of updating the calendar to use the more realistic speed and distance? Itād be nice to see that in TR.
