Amateur Doping real problem?

Joking aside athletes can be harmed by the crazy doses and deliveries, I’m glad WADA are monitoring for caffeine abuse

Yeah I’ve seen some people do crazy stuff. If some is good, more must be better. Not really no. Like training, more is just more.

Kurt,

You probably know this, but for others who don’t, Global DRO is much easier to use to determine what is allowed and when (or not) than trying to parse through USADA or WADA.

Yes, the Global DRO site is a lot easier. But my friends, for example, don’t know what that is so they go to USADA and the stuff there doesn’t help. Maybe they can navigate to the right stuff, but it’s almost like USADA keeps things under wraps and secret. But they do have a link to DRO on there, so if you figure it out you can get the info you need.

(…was there a warning about green tea).

Because some of the chemical compounds in green tea affect the doping tests for testosterol - if you drink too much green tea, the test isn’t as sensitive, and there would be suspicion that you’ve done it on purpose.

It was actually the London olympics where that was discussed, a quite long time ago now!

Ah, now found this. Nothing wrong with green tea, just the masking effects.
