Adaptive Training - Progression Levels of Past Workouts and Future Planning

All good, starting at 1.0 is standard for new athletes, and when Plan Builder first created your plan, it was looking at the scope of what you entered for your experience, volume, discipline, end date or events/etc., not at those 1.0s.

Looking at your activities and adaptations, it’s important to note that workouts outside of your plan are impacting your Progression Levels, but you wont receive adaptations based upon those workouts. (Yet, the development team is actively working on this). So AT is suggesting a couple of adaptations not seeing the full scope of the work you’re doing before you start your plan. That said, considering you were killing your workouts, I would not accept those adaptations knowing that they’re more accurate once you actually start your plan next week!

Does AT take into account outdoor rides? For example my TR prescribed ride was a 2 hr/100 TSS but I actually did an outdoor ride at 3+hr/198 TSS. How does AT handle this?

This is the highest priority for our developers working on AT currently: to account for unstructured outside rides, analyze the work/energy zones within it, and adjust your Progression Levels and future adaptations accordingly!
