Achievable vs Productive upcoming workouts?

I’m on a plan and doing AT. I note that an upcoming workout is scheduled that is Achievable.
For ex, my SS is 3.4 but only gives me an upcoming SS 1.7 workout which is Achievable.
My question is: should I follow the plan as written? Is is not suggested at this time to do a workout at Productive at this time? I suppose it is a risk if I would substitute another Productive instead I could pay for it down the line. thx

right, not everything needs to be productive. believe me, when you get near level 10 you don’t want every workout to be productive, it adds up over time!

Look at your plan and which days that are supposed to be easy, moderate and hard. The workout levels should follow that pattern
