OMG THAT!! Three quarters of my family have been ‘triggered’ by something I did, or didn’t do. My brother thinks I’m gay for wearing Lycra**.
Some people can get so ‘triggered’ by the least thing now. I thought it brave to put that on a jersey, but also potentially ‘troubling’.
I was wearing my Star Trek jersey, and some red necks in a huge pickup truck yelled at me that ‘It’s too bad you aren’t wearing a red jersey!’. The message was disgusting and rather shocking. It’s famous/infamous lore on Star Trek the Original Series. I’m sure such a monster would have something to say about ‘BE A GOOD PERSON’ too…
Primal did an ‘ON YOUR LEFT’ jersey that got me a ‘talking to’ about how ambiguous the term was. Yeah, I did roll my eyes, but tried to make sure they didn’t see me doing it. (The back was ‘I CAN’T STOP’, or something similar, and I thought it was hysterical)
Like @BlueHeron said, yeah I can see that being a thing.
** Then when he somehow saw Tour de France coverage, asked me how many times I’ve crashed while riding. 'Not as many times as NASCAR drivers crash.
But back to the jersey: I don’t think I’ll buy one Yeah, it would be great if people were ‘good people’, but some would assume they where good for backing up and running over a cyclist again, just to make sure…
@sasa It says ‘BAGP’. BAGP? BAG-PEE? The whole rest of the back is black, except for their logo and BAGP over the middle pocket.
