A post workout beer is a wondrous thing. Wouldn’t touch caffeine in the evening.
What kind of beer?
I used to do a Voodoo Ranger IPA and it hit the spot.

Guinness Stout over Vanilla ice cream. Plenty of carbs.

The drink doesn’t matter as much as whether or not you’re eating full meal so you’re body can recover.
If the beer is really good, then beer for sure. If only mainstream beer is available then juice. Some food for sure.
My opinion unless you’re a pro with and employer you need to perform for. drink whatever you want as long as you’re being responsible.

Take whichever one you want more, depriving yourself is what is going to ruin your recovery.
You can have them both though… (Diesel, the way I like it most)
