Budweiser, its got what your body needs, or at least it seems to right the world for me after hard efforts. Not a ton of booze, some carbs and is easy on my gut.
A post workout beer is a wondrous thing. Wouldnât touch caffeine in the evening.
What kind of beer?
I used to do a Voodoo Ranger IPA and it hit the spot.
Guinness Stout over Vanilla ice cream. Plenty of carbs.
The drink doesnât matter as much as whether or not youâre eating full meal so youâre body can recover.
If the beer is really good, then beer for sure. If only mainstream beer is available then juice. Some food for sure.
My opinion unless youâre a pro with and employer you need to perform for. drink whatever you want as long as youâre being responsible.
Take whichever one you want more, depriving yourself is what is going to ruin your recovery.
You can have them both though⌠(Diesel, the way I like it most)
