Overall, I really like it. Subtle geometry changes so it’s not as aggressive as the Tarmac, but not super relaxed that it’s a full on endurance bike. Hidden cables are polarizing but I think they look really nice. It maintains the classic round tubes and no dropped seat stays. UDH added. 35mm official clearance. I’m heading over to my shop to see it in person tomorrow. Not a race bike by any means but it could work for a lot of people.
Well I’m chuffed. They basically gave it the same geometry I decided on and now love for my current Ti road bike. Only difference is their chain stay length and by that the wheelbase is 1cm shorter compared to mine. Feel like I’m a trend setter or ahead of the curve or some such nonsense.
I like it, was never interested in the old one as it just looked like my Supersix Evo Black Inc with those cables out the front, but this one looks great.
If you could substitute the 12r frame on the Force model I guess the price would be $10.5k.
It’s hard to imagine how much material gets trimmed during construction that saves 1.6lbs overall if the frame difference is only 110g.
