I want to seal the foam. Once we’ve removed the reason why foam to crumble… I hope an anodized coating will stop break down.
its hard to tell with those wear patterns. theyre far enough inward, i wonder if they’re not all from bushings like you say. foam shouldn’t break up. either they were installed wrong at the factory or they just got so dry that they separated prematurely. it’s pretty dense foam. as long as it stays oiled and isnt getting pinched, it shouldn’t wear like that. i would not superglue them in.

So far I’ve read about quite some people having their isostrut sound like this and most find it very problematic. I am starting to wonder, is this a problem or if this works as designed. A question to Supercaliber owners, which one of you has a completely silent isostrut shock?
