This is awesome! When you say “endurance ride” on Saturday, what watts/kg are we talking about? I have a crap FTP, so your endurance zone is likely much different than mine

The ride is listed as an E category, which means that everyone can ride whatever pace they wish. No set pace for the ride.

I would assume some flyers take off and hammer while Nate and Eric Ming hold relatively modest pace.

I assumed by “no-drop”, it meant that it’d have the “keep everyone together” option turned on. @Jonathan, is that right?

438 people signed up so far…pretty damn big group!! That rivals BMTR’s regular Saturday ride and some of the TdZ rides.

What’s the Over / Under for total riders by the time the ride starts…1K?

I may try to make it as it’s an interesting piece of indoor history on par with the Jensie ride and such. I can also appreciate the irony (likely selected & intended) of a route including “the volcano” that was so notably teased & maligned in AACC episodes over the years

Is it just my phone or is there no link in this thread to the actual event?

Zwift x TrainerRoad: Ride with the CEOs Zwift x TrainerRoad: Ride with the CEOs - The at Home Cycling & Running Virtual Training App

Thats 16:00 UK for anyone over here…

I just tested by phone & web and got to the right page for both. Via phone I was able to click to join the group so it seem to be working for me at least.

That’s correct! Everybody will be stuck together regardless of power output.

Loving the ftp honesty here lol! Good to know I’m not alone, but mine is really crap

Since this is a banded ride, anyone know if we be able to do workouts while on the ride?

Sure, if you run 2 apps like the old days :stuck_out_tongue:

LOL…that was what I thought (and what I am gonna do).

The irony of reverting back to the old-school method for doing TR workout in Zwift in order to participate in a group ride celebrating the new TR / Zwift integration is just sooooo rich. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Tomorrow is day for this:

And the GR is at 4 in the afternoon here… I guess I can do this as an extended warmup and have a really early lunch so I can start the thereshold before 2 o clock and get in the ride just after its done.

I have a threshold workout, not sure I’ll enjoy if I join!

Bike shifters still dead so can’t ride outside anyway…16:00…

Looks like the servers maybe get a good test tomorrow

That’s not nuttin’, but I am pretty sure there have been plenty that exceeded that over the years.

Right there with you. Over/Unders the old school way during the group ride tomorrow for me.

I did the Thanksgiving Day ride with Eric Min last year and it had about 3,300 people. The chat was completely unusable, but I was impressed Zwift didn’t even break a sweat.
