Zwift Ride Chain Lube

Hi there - just bought a zwift ride with whaoo core

The chain comes pre lubed and is very smooth. however, i ride a lot. i used to wac all my chains but it creates a lot of mess inside.

Could anyone recommend a chain routine for zwift ride -

  1. what lube - maybe not a way based? maybe synergetic

  2. cleaning - just a wipe off or boiling water rinse?

I use UFO indoor wax on my trainer bike, it’s long lasting to say the least! Not as clean as the usual excess, even the wax drips, bit I think I put it on around may and haven’t topped up since….

thanks ! which one in particular i know they have a few - i used to use it outside !

Are there really multiple UFO indoor wax lubes? I think Alex was rather specific in his reply on what he uses

ok great - can i ask if you have used this with the zwift ride pre lubed chain as i belive is has factory grease which is good for indoors but not outside obvisouly ! thank you ! :slight_smile:

Nope, no idea about the Zwift ride, but if I was putting the above on it I’d strip all drive parts of everything and start from bare metal (which is what I’ve done on my trainer bike)
