Total time of the workout after synchronizing to my Elemnt Bolt was 1:00:45, not 1 h flat
The warm up block is just “Ride for 10 minutes gradually raising your power from 206 watts to 372 watts.”, which is 15 seconds shorter than the warmup in the graph and it goes straight into the first set of intervals without the 3 minute recovery. Ramping to 372 also is lower than the penultimate warm up interval in the graph (for me it was 392) and omits the last interval, which is 45 s @ 115% (475 W for me).
The lengths of the main intervals in the graph are 1:30, 1:45, 2:00 and back down again. On my Bolt, they were also announced with those durations in the heads-up 10 s before the interval starts, but the actual durations varied:
First set, the 4th and 5th interval were 15 s longer (laps 8 & 10)
Mud Lake [and I believe a handful of other anaerobic workouts] promises that recoveries are three times as long as the intervals themselves, but this is only true for the 15-second and 60-second intervals. The recovery for the 35-second interval is only 90 seconds. The recovery for the 50-second interval is only 135 seconds. I really could have used those extra 15 seconds today!!
Was going to go for a ride tonight with my wife, nice and easy recovery spin. Figured I would add it into my calendar as a 1.5hr recovery workout … go to look… there are no Recovery rides for TR Outdoor ? Weird, considering there are 30 options in the library for Recovery from 1hr to 1.75hr. Seems like an easy fix.
So figured I would find a very low IF endurance ride - found some - one that looked very easy, was Stickney, but oddly it doesn’t show an IF like all other workouts? seems like a glitch
I was going to add the planned ride to my calendar this morning for doing it tonight, was kind of interested to see what effect it would have on prediction and plan for tomorrow and this weekend. So it would then ‘match’ etc - but like you say I suppose it doesn’t really matter. Especially if I would do it very roughly and likely low on power range.
