Read that at the weekend - truly an excellent read and I wish we’d get more long form journalism these days. It’s all click bait and conveyor belt shilling. Occasional stuff like this from cyclingtips restores a little faith
Real shame for everyone involved. The guys who started it up, I mean their heads and hearts were in the right place. They had the brains to innovate and personal qualities to pull in investment to make it happen. Dynamic enough to rework the business on the fly, and regardless of the ‘delays’ they were moving at breakneck speed in cycling terms. Imagine where they’d be if it wasn’t for that screwup in 10 years? Could have been the Apple of the cycling world.
