Question about gearing for those familiar with this event. I realize there is not one answer due to differences in fitness, weight, experience and equipment so, just looking for general insight or experience. My gearing is sort of road oriented: Up front I have a 2X (48/35) paired to an 11-32 cassette. I’ve watched a number of youtube videos and some sections look steep but, manageable if not too sandy or slick. Thanks for any info!
Your gearing is fine except for the last pitch of the highest climb, you are going to have to walk, 8-10 min hike.

That’s what I was afraid of.
