Perhaps that’s the confusion as tubeless tyres are also clinchers. Clinchers does not tell us they are not tubeless.

I use these with tubes on my London city commuter and they have been brilliant - far better than the Conti GP 4 Seasons I have used for the last 5 years.

Getting tubeless tires on and off the wheel never was a problem for me. I just used simple tire levers like these and it was easy.
One thing to remember when getting the tire off, is that you need to push them off the bid and into the center of the rim. Then they go off easily (with levers).
