I had the Endurance workout Black on Wednesday but I decided to make Wednesday a rest night and move it to today and my commute. Stuck the bike in the wee ring until the end steep hill in traffic. I still stayed in the wee ring there but let my HR rise. Lol, I better find better gloves for my next ride as my chemo damaged hands felt like I had just come out of -1 or -2 deg C; it was a more mild 5deg C

I had the day off and wanted to do a longer ride. I didn’t feel like preparing my TT bike so I took my road bike out to try and do a sub4 100. Compared to the TT bike, it’s more difficult due to back and neck pain from not having TT bars to hold and arm pads to rest on.

A deceptive head wind 
for our ride today, down to the Hotel/cafe at Oundle then back up to the pub at Fotheringhay before going our separate ways.
I preferred last week’s apple and cinnamon cake, it had a more sweet gooey mixture and today’s was a mildly moist sponge

Back home from 10 days in Costa Rica, went to bed at 1am and up at 6:45am to catch an easy ride

Full Red AXS except for Force 10-36 cassette and Force Chain
ENVE 4.5’s
GP5K S TR in 28mm(measures at 30.75mm!)
Was very windy today(15-25mph 
) so didn’t get the greatest feel for how it feels, but so far I like it a lot! I do wish ENVE had kept the 5.6’s and updated them with a 25mm internal/32mm external as I’d prefer a slightly deeper wheel but these 4.5’s are NICE

Considering swapping the decals on the wheels to white to spice it up a bit, but otherwise, I don’t think there is anything I’d change about it(except for I’ll likely drop some spacers off the steerer)

New bike day for me too!
Already gave me a hiccup today… a ziptie broke, and with no other way to remedy it, I was forced to use my Timberbell in an unconventional way.
With the unfortunate side effect that I couldn’t pedal more than half a stroke (interference with the crank arm). Thankfully I was at the top of the ride.
Also, at some point on my way down, my Elemnt Bolt decided to die… and I mean die. It ain’t charging or starting back up.
Still, a bad day on the bike is better than a lot of things!
