I think it is normal to gravitate to one side if there are two dominant forces in a specific arena, no harm in this as long as one’s reasoning is rational (and respectful).
Fortunately the consequences of picking a cycling computer are somewhat limited compared to choosing a PC OS because your buy-in is limited and none of the players are strong enough to force their customers into a walled garden.
Having said that - this thread seems totally reasonable (and respectful) to me. Has it gone a bit off topic? Maybe. Probably.
I am an ex-bolt user. Lots of problems with it. There is a google forums group dedicated to wahoo computers. Many problems. But that’s the same with any brand.
I also had kickr core problems and switched to cyclops. My biggest problem was with Wahoo’s CEO Chip doing the video with Dcrainmaker saying everything was fixed… Then almost a year later people are having the exact same problems. Wahoo would have to release something amazing for me to ever consider them again. Blue and pink bolts were not it and either is the roam by a long shot.
