It has almost nothing to do with just drivers…it’s the entire public sphere.

Meh. People will always whine. I still think the whining comes from that one time, 10 months ago, when they got to work at 8:58 instead of 8:56 because they were stuck behind a cyclist who took a lane to increase their safety.
The public sphere and drivers are a venn diagram with just one circle. The two circles are essentially one and the same.
Now, that said…my TT idea is probably objectively dumb for a LOT of other reasons lol.
So ALL public are drivers? 
I love competition but bike racin’ is pretty far down the scale in the bigger picture.

Pretty much. In 2016 only 8.7% of US households did not have a car. The effective number is probably even less when you account for ride sharing/rental options.

I am signed up from Mohican as well. They sent an email a couple weeks ago that it was still going when the governor here indicated the shelter in place policy ends April 30, but that doesn’t mean it won’t change again.
I’m counting on my A race happening at the end of July. I think by then we’ll (hopefully) be in a bit of a lull with social distancing lessened and non-essential businesses having been reopened for only a short time. It seems like things might pick up again after a while so I am not as hopeful for a complete 'cross season.
