Ride this for the first time a few months ago. I just went back last week. Epic climb. Gibraltar in Santa Barbara was my favourite but i now think this beats it.
In Arizona, it’s hands down climbing and descending Mt. Lemmon. My personal favorite. I’ve ridden the whole thing dozens of times and I’m still not tired of it.
Awesome! Have a good time. Going to be a little hot and humid, but it’s that time of year.
If you like mtn biking northshore type trails, the “Split Rock Wilds” is supposed to be really nice. (MN)

Bike to Vermont (B2VT.org) for road cycling. VT Grand Fondo for approx. 70/30 road/gravel riding (http://vermontgranfondo.com/). Another ride that’s getting a little attention, maybe for next year, in one of my cycling circles is the 200-on-100 (http://www.100-200.org/).
Epic (as in tough) ride in Texas - **Tour das Hugel wanders around the west side of Austin. Informal group ride happens in November with a few hundred riders, but it’s all on open roads and available for riding all the time.
The Grand Epic is not to be trifled with. This is a gravel route, but I did the mini on a FS MTB.
