Your girlfriend and my wife follow the same story telling methodology. Pretty much every single story she tells me ends in a surprise / twist ending because up until the point she actually finishes the story I generally have no idea where it’s going.
Anyone else not able to see comments on the EC site? I see the comments “bubble” to click on, but then nothing shows up. I’ve tried it on multiple articles, and tried logging out/in. Nothing.
I didn’t notice your message till now, but yeah same here. I had been reading and I think commented on one of the tool articles and when I went back to see what else had been posted the comments were gone.
I think the comments appearing / not appearing can be related to your browser / server / ad blocker. For a long time I could not see the comments on my laptop at work, but could see them just fine everywhere else (including on my work laptop at home). But recently, the comments have been appearing at work, too….i have not been able to isolate the actual source, but then I haven’t really tried, either.
I hear you, but in my specific case, they worked on my laptop and iPad one day and then didn’t work the next, so I’m guessing something changed on their end.
I’m not thrilled with their podcast system. Currently they run about one third of each podcast for subscribers and non subscribers alike. If you sign up, subscribe, and give them your email they will email you the full episode.
Well, I was already a subscriber and they obviously already had my email so why was I blocked? So I signed up with my email. I have gotten a couple of the performance podcasts sent to me but others are ten days to two weeks late from when they posted the original one third podcast. I like most of the articles and the staff’s writing but this podcast system is backwards in its treatment of subscribers. No It’s not being sent to spam or blocked on my end.
It took a round or two for the members only pods to sort itself out for me, but now everything is fine. I just have two feed in Apple podcast app….the regular one and the members only one (which has everything in it)
If you’re a subscriber you should be able to go to a webpage enter your email and get links to all of the member podcast feeds. Rather than getting emailed them when they come out they should appear in your podcast feed.
I can see why Road and Track pulled this story. She is terminal (see last bit of the article). She has a chip on her shoulder about billionaires, princes, and steaks that cost as much as her electric bill but she holds million dollar athletes like Pogacar, and Hamilton on pedestals.
I believe there’s a slight difference between billionaires and baseline bleacher tickets costing $1,000, versus a handful of cycling millionaires and free-to-watch cycling events anywhere you can find a chunk of pavement along the course.
